We build line-of-business apps on Zoho Creator — inventory and asset trackers, field-service and inspection apps, approval and request workflows, custom portals, and internal tools that off-the-shelf software doesn't quite fit. If a process lives in spreadsheets or email today, it's usually a strong candidate for a custom app.
What do you build on — and why Zoho Creator?
We build primarily on Zoho Creator, a low-code platform. It lets us deliver faster and at a lower cost than full custom code, and it connects natively to the rest of your Zoho stack. For requirements that fall outside Creator, we extend it with APIs and custom scripting where it makes sense.
How long does it take to build a custom app?
It depends on scope. A focused single-workflow app can be ready in a few weeks, while a multi-module app with integrations and user roles takes longer. After a scoping call we share a phased plan with realistic timelines — built around real feedback and approval cycles, not ideal conditions.
Can the app connect with our existing systems?
Yes. We integrate custom apps with your Zoho apps — CRM, Books, People — and with external systems through APIs, such as payment gateways, ERPs and other third-party tools, so data flows across your stack without duplicate entry.
Can we make changes ourselves after launch?
Yes. Because it's built on a low-code platform, everyday changes — fields, layouts and basic reports — are manageable by your team after handover, and we train you on them. For deeper changes or new modules, we're available to help whenever you need.
How is the cost structured, and what about support?
There are two parts: your Zoho subscription licensing, and Shikom's build effort — quoted transparently after we understand your scope. After launch we provide ongoing support and enhancements, refining the app as your processes evolve.
